10/22 Trigger

I have two KIDD single stage triggers and love them! Might have to try that $99 Canadian special on my next one. Thanks for the links/info:D

On the advice of guys here I sent one down to David at Brimstone. Beautiful trigger job - very crisp with 1.75lb pull. He's a great guy to deal with. Highly recommended.

I've put Clark trigger groups into two different 10-22s. Got the parts from Brownells - admittedly a while ago. They were $65 at the time. plus shipping (once to Canada, once to New Zealand).
I've also put the "auto" bolt release into a few 10-22s, including modifying a factory one to function that way - never have to buy the custom one again.
I clean from the breech end. Take the trigger group out, and with a hole bored through the back of the receiver, in line with the barrel, you can clean from the breech and not stuff up the rifling/crown at the muzzle.. and not have to remove the barrel to clean from the breech...
Cheers

I was on their site and found they would not ship to Canada.

Taken from their shipping faq:

We DO ship to Canada, New Zealand and many other countries, but please remember we cannot ship "Items required for operation" valued over $100 out of the united states (or up to $500 to Canada), but we are happy to ship buffers and tools and other small parts, many with free shipping (depending on nation and order).

thanks...I actually had placed an order there for a barrel plus the Kidd dual stage trigger both of under $500 and their system told me it could not be shipped so I just left it at that.

In future however, I may try again some time.

That's because they ARE "items required for operation" (of a firearm).
