Maybe I got a good one but Im pretty happy with mine. Its as accurate as I want for plinking, very reliable with the factory magazine, and was a good price when I bought it 4 years ago ($300 for the sporter grade).

Ive got zero complaints besides the government and the ridiculous 10+ mag debacle.

In fairness to the platform, when I got mine, it was at the height of the gun buying panic under Obummer. Ruger was busy cranking "gun like objects" as fast as they could to make a $, and their QC was non-existent.

The biggest plus is the plethora of aftermarket products. The sky is the limit.
