10 round AR mags

It is not required by law, just there own policy.

Gun ownership has enough bulls**te to deal with , i don't feel dealers need to add to the layers of nonsense

Sort of like providing your drivers license to buy car parts

Have you actually contacted Mark at Questar?

Since they sell firearms on their website, it is just easier to have your RPAL with you contact info all together, so they can streamline the ordering process, if you don't want to give your RPAL just enter bunch of zero's or ones.

Mark also have stated a few times that, if you don't feel like giving your RPAL number there are ways around that like calling them direct or via email, don't just assume you must give your RPAL to buy from them.

All sponsoring dealers are a very accomodating when it comes to special requests but only if you actully let them know about it

ok #1 feeling iffy giving your pal # to questar is kinda paranoid, yes this is the internet, yes someone could keylog it ect... but it will be from some virus you get, not from mark at questar. I bet if you phoned or emailed they wouldnt even care about the pal# for some mags, and seeing as how they seem to be one of the few people actually LITIGATING for change in this country, give them your $ damnit!!! also their mags are cheaper, and I never waited more then 10 days for shipping. SFRC is also awesome, but i think the lar 10 mags are a bit more expensive

I am new to AR's, just awaiting the CFO approval of my first one

Question; So why does the CFO have to "approve" your first one?

If you have a restricted license and buy one do you not just have to register it or is this what you are talking about?

All restricted transfers go to the provincial CFO for approval. Wait time can be weeks sometimes.

Not able to take possession of the firearm until transfer is approved.

So if you order one on line does the dealer submit the transfer paperwork or do you have to do it on your own?

When the LAR 15 10 round pistol mags came out I purchased 5 of them from Lever Arms in Vancouver for my XCR-L upper in 223 and just last week 4 XCR-L 10 round pistol mags labeled 7.62X39 arrived at my door from Wolverine supply for my XCR-L upper in 6.8spc.

Cool thing is these mags use the same follower for both 7.62X39 & 6.8SPC they hold ten 7.62X39 rounds and eleven 6.8spc rounds = super cool and totally legal to hunt with here in BC...

I need to shorten the mag springs slightly so I can pop an 11 round mag into the rifle with the bolt closed as of now I have to have the bolt open or only 10 in the mag if the bolt is closed.

Yes that is right I will be hunting with my XCR-L in 6.8SPC loaded up with 10/11 round mags only problem is my XCR-L is so accurate I only ever need one shot...

:D
