I just thoguht I'd give everyone an update.

I'm still waiting on word from the importer on the mags. I'm told they were shipped from the factory a couple weeks ago and they are waiting for them to arrive. I'm expecting them to be available soon.

Hey just wondering,
Can you post the letter from RCMP showing these new 10 Round AR pistol magazines have been approved by the RCMP and classified as Handgun Magazines with a legal capacity of 10 rounds?

Given all of the recent issues with RCMP declaring various magazines to be Prohibited Devices, (S&W M&P 15-22 and Chiappa), and previous rulings on the Remington 7615 magazine, couldn’t the RCMP declare your 10 round magazines to also be Prohibited Magazines? Do you have a written approval from the RCMP for these new 10 round AR pistol magazines you’re going to be selling?

The LAR-15 magazines imported by Questar have a letter from RCMP that says they are classified as Handgun Magazines and approved for a capacity of 10 rounds. That RCMP letter (posted on Questar’s website) very specifically states that the LAR-15 pistol magazines made by CProducts are the only approved 10 round AR magazine as of that date. Do you guys have an updated letter showing your new magazine is also now approved?

If not, what happens if RCMP declare your magazines Prohibited Devices after I buy them? Do you take them back for a full refund or am I stuck having to deal with the problem?

Ruger mini 14 5/30 mag

Mine just arrived. They look real nice. One question: does anyone know how to remove the floor plate for cleaning?

You are mis-reading the letter, you are putting to much stake in the wording.
Questar broke new ground and obviously had hurdles to clear. The letter was more for insurance to the buyers so they had something to prove the new mags were legal.
Now that the gate is open, it is easier for others to follow.

Why would a store take back a used product for a full refund?
2 years from now? 5 years from now?
If they prohib. all AR's...can we all just bring them back to where we bought them and ask for our money back??
Silly question.

Why would we do that anyway? We will still need the magazines for our rifles anyway (hopefully we can un-neuter them since they will be prohib anyway), or were we planning on complying?

Just an update, I'm told they are in customs and they are expecting them at the warehouse shortly.
