10 year old daughter at the sporting clay range....

My first post on the board is in this thread to say "Dad of the year." My second daughter is due at the end of the month, I was *kinda* hoping for a boy but when you watch videos like this it just doesn't matter. Great work!

Edit to say now I wish I waited until August before posting - 3 years of lurking just came to an end.

Have to say this post made my day! I love the idea of you getting out with your two daughters in a couple of years....check out the Savage Rascal - my girls have been shooting theirs since they were about 6 years old.

Apologies for drawing out the lurker!

Cheers,

Brobee

Nicely done Brobee. I had my girls shooting skeet and reloading their own at age 12 but once they discovered boys around age 16 both gave it up on me
Broke my heart to be honest and I didnot know what I could have done different
Then just at Christmas one says dad do you still have my old 28ga. Yes dear why. Well I would like to start shooting skeet again this year
Brought a tear to my eye since she is almost 24 now.
So looks like the seeds we plant early in life do bloom later also
All the best

Not at all, it just needed a really good thread for me to break my duck and you won! It's about time I participate a little more, looking at getting my first guns in Canada in the next few months. It's been too long since I've owned any.

Brobee thank you for sharing there is so much awesomeness in these videos and story. I have had my daughters shooting since they were 8 and like 3macs1 one lost interest when she found boys, my youngest 18 was into clays for a long time and was getting pretty good until she found handguns, now I cant get her out to the clay range at all just the pistol range LOL oh well Ill take what I can get eh.

Keep it fun and light hearted, safety first and youre doing an awesome job !!
