100% bought a Kimber! :)

You'll need talley mediums for a 40mm, highs for a 42mm and extra highs for a 50mm.

I have the same rifle in .308, I know I'll have to post pics for most to believe but mine's consistently hovering around the .5" @ 100m. Shoots the same cold or so hot you can barely touch it (which is only about four rounds).

One issue with the example I have, when a round is chambered, it sticks about 1/2 to 3/4" before closing the bolt. Take forward pressure off, then reapply and the round chambers. Drives me crazy! I think I need a smith to take what must be a burr off the opening of the chamber.

Thanks CDN sounds grouse!!

guy said he had it at the range this past weekend since I put a deposit he thought he best have one more crack through it.

I wont use higher than a x40 scope , most likely a x40 actually!

Hey also guys in RE the Kimber! the Rings will be changed to Talley lightwights , the Owner will give me those as it come with it and he is happy to put whatever I wanted on.

Medium height Silver Talleys!

does this change scope choice!

If the silver is close, might be worth considering.
Also, if you plan on keeping this rifle, then keeping the colour scheme
is a matter of taste.
The animals won't know the difference and buying a sliver/grey scope
might be tough to use on something else later on.

Dang'd if'fin yah dew and golldang'it iff'n ya don't.

Photos.........need..........more..........hunting........fotoz's.

matte scope and rings.

I find a silver scope just sticks out too much, too bright. There's enough silver on that rifle already.

I sell every silver scope I get on a rifle......they are the worst thing you can do to a stainless rifle...or any rifle.

Well said Rembo!

The comments I made regarding ring height are for the objective bell to clear the barrel at the chamber. Those of you that are mounting really far forward could use lower rings of course.

geez Louise, this is her

Its got Talley lightweights in Low now apparently lol.

I think in the short term the gun will either have my 2-7x33 or il leave it unscoped an unused until I can afford a ultra lite VX2 which I think are 3-9x33
