10mm has gone the way of the DODO!

I owned a G20 for several years and will say this: If all you're going to shoot through it is weak assed factory 10mm then you're good to go. If on the other hand you hand load 10mm to it's true potential you'll need an aftermarket barrel like a KKM to salvage your brass. The stock G20 barrel has a sloppy loose chamber in order to make it reliable but it wrecks brass with any kind of pressure.

If someone ever gets around to re-introducing the Bren 10 the 10mm chambering may very well rise substantially in popularity.

re-introducing decent ammo would do more to increase 10mm;s popularity than introducing more guns that shoot 40 S&W +P's

Well, it wasn't my gun - My fingers are too long to get a comfy grip on the hockey-stick-like Glocks. T'was a poor fellow on the range next to me. New G17 (I recall he said something about 500 rounds through it), and he was shooting American Eagle 124 gr FMJ, if I remember accurately.

Only pistol I've ever personally seen go for s*&t.

I admit, probably just a fluke, but...

That pic just shows how typical Colt is. That pistol will probably be in the $1300-$1500 range. You think for the type of money Colt wants for it, and looking at the stuff they added to it, they could have at least fit a real beavertail, not that cheap s**t drop in one that looks like crap. The new Norinco's have high grips bevertails that are fitted bar better then that.

983 MSRP in USD...our dollar is at or near par with US. So it should be around $1000.

Only if you bought it in the States & could get it back here without paying a premium. I bet dealers here will try & sell 'em for $1,299. That is if any ever get here.

I really like the idea of Colt bringing back the Delta I'm just not sure why they picked the new frame. They also blew it by not using the original style grips. If I didn't already have an original I would probably buy one though.

Most people who buy Glocks don't know about the big warnings about shooting lead through polygonal rifled barrels. While these barrels are fine for shooting jacketed bullets they lead dangerously quickly. People who want to shoot lead safely through their Glocks usually swap to aftermarket barrels with traditional rifling to avoid KBs.

Why the Colt people brought back their 10mm in the 1911 frame is puzzling. The 1911 frame is just not up to a steady diet of full power 10mm. There is only one gun that is.
Its made in Austria, has a black plastic frame and starts with the letter G. They have 10mm down so well, that they even offer their 10mm in a compact version. It fires full power 10mm all day long.
Too bad you have to move to Austria to get the real thing. Glock USA is just not the same.
