10mm

Once again, I was talking about 10mm Magnum which is not the same as 10mm Auto. I have seen dozens of different types of 10mm Auto brass over the 15 years and 50,000+ rounds of it I have fired.

10mm Magnum is a cartridge used in 10mm Auto revolvers that have had their cylinders reamed to accept the longer Magnum cartridge. It supposedly offers 2-300 fps over the Auto but I didn't make it far into experimenting with it before selling my SW 610 for a healthy profit. They were the only revolver going at the time and were about 7 years off from being reintroduced.

Care to share your 10mm mag data?

I am so close to taking my 18" T/C Contender carbine in 10mm over to Rusty Wood Trading company to get him to ream it out to 10mm mag.

Could you use 10mm dies or did you have to get 10mm mag dies?

If it works out I'll start looking at buying a GP100 in 10mm then get Peter to ream out the cylinder.

^I lost my relevant load books in a housfire years ago so I went online to look at data to jog my memory regarding the COAL. I found a PDF that is so good I won't even bother posting what I can remember. The IAI gun 200grn AA#9 data is pretty well what I had going on anyway.

I do remember the bottom end loads were all over 1400fps from a 5" revolver. AA9 is a dream to work with, it's easily one of my favorite powders. I also remember it was you that put me onto the stuff! I used my RCBS Carbide dies without any issues.
