10x12 muti curved shooters cut LIV NIJ certfied NIJ 06 RCMP contract

also it says in the contract they requested a solid ceramic construction but in the pics you posted of the shot plate it does look like a tiled construction, any confirmation of construction?

did the plates arrive at the shop on time? mail is super slow right now so im hoping they got to you on time

nope if you look at the posting and up date , just waiting on the NIJ stickers then we will be able to ship them out, cant have RCMP or other police related info on the cover, not after last months issue on the east coast.
well be later this week before we can ship.

its 1 pc for sure, ive been selling Armour for almost 20yrs now , so i,m 100% sure these are 1pc ceramic, what you may be seeing in the photo id the heavy weave KEVLAR or UHMW as the backer

Are the stickers just going to be covering up the RCMP info, or replacing it? if it's replacing it could we get a picture of the old markings for cataloging purposes if you have them. (part of a group that is dedicated to collecting and cataloging amour plates, and those markings would be great to have.).

So, would that mean they're not multi-hit rated?
they are muti hit,m and we also tested them if you look at post 35 in this thread, you will see we shot one of the plates with 168gr BTMHP at 5 m with 2 rounds.
less then 20mm of BFD
the test for nij for .308 is 147hr 762 nato at 15 m with less then 35mm BFD
or 1 rd of 30-06AP M1 ball
.308 is alot harder and faster hitting then 762 nato.
it stopped 2 rounds no issue at all.
also this has passed and has NIJ cert so it meets all specs. for muti hit on 5.56 ss109 g m193 762x39 steel core, 762 nato and 30-06 AP

ill see what i can do about that

Another update.
All orders will be packed and start shipping over this weekend
The bulk of them will go out Monday and tuesday
We have 300+ set to ship out so that's going to take us a few days.

Got mine and very pleased with them. They are lighter and considerably more comfortable than the single curve steel plates I had before.

Was there any excess glue residue along the edges?

I didn't think it was glue, I thought maybe the synthetic fabric they are covered with might have melted a bit during the sealing process, but whatever if is I wouldn't describe it as excessive. I did think to myself though that maybe these are factory "seconds," which might not have been aesthetically perfect and therefore is what may account for the great price, but it isn't offensive. Just enough of an imperfection to make me wonder. But looks don't matter to me, they are hidden inside my plate carrier anyway.
