12.5 grizzly with pistol grip length

Not true.

You can legally increase OVERALL LENGTH (ie. >26") of the firearm by welding an extension etc onto the barrel.

You can't, however, legally increase the BARREL LENGTH (i.e. >18.5") in this way. Though, there is no minimum barrel length for a pump shotgun anyway.

Ive heard of some gray area here. I believe it had to do with them not giving LEO's a definitive way of measuring? Maybe someone who knows more can chime in. Or maybe its just a bit gray with threaded muzzles? I dunno...

FWIW the RCMP are not saying a SG with PG under 26" is restricted. Even the techs will say they have no idea. It is not about length, it is about how many hands it is meant to be fired with (broken record off)

Maybe so. But all of my rifles and shotguns are over 26", 'cause I have better things to do in my life than to be a test case.

I called a tech as well and it seemed she didn't know what she was talking about, she says it has to be over 26" and thats what they check for...? Is there any case where someone was pulled over with an unrestricted shotgun below 26"? Like the other guy said I wouldn't want to be a test case even if the techs don't know. She said speak to a lawyer about it?...

i would think an Hp-9 14" with knoxx breachers kit pistol grip should be still non-restricted. Anyone have this set up?
