52, have 4 Prohibs. Glock 23 gen2 but have a 40-9 conversion bbl that one of the boys will get eventually.

Old enough to be able to legally hunt with a handgun or an AR or a semi AK-47. I once bought a Norinco AK-47 in .223 at LeBarons, when there were at Bells Corner.
 
48. I actually got rid of my last one earlier this year. A Browning 1910 .32 ACP. Bought it for $50 at SIR in Winninpeg, 1988.
I may get some flack for forever giving up my 12.(6) status, but there were some good reasons.
 
The Dan Wesson revolver remains classified as prohibited,
even if the longer barrels are mounted.
You probably knew that.
Others might not know.

Good on you for passing on 12(7) guns to your sons.

I know it was a joke, but the answer is yes.

Less complicated to marry someone though. Marry, transfer, divorce, wham! bam! 12.7! That's why they made it so 12.7 can't acquire more 12.6, only those from "inheritance".

The even larger sadness is the 12.2 to 12.5. Most of them are probably destroyed or rendered unoperable upon the death of the owner, even if the family would like to keep them intact. That's sad.

Will have to turn In the 2" and 4" bbl. BUT , I am looking into legally getting a 106 mm. BBL done up.
I am also always looking for a good price on another 12(7). For my 3rd boy.
And as long as I am kicking around I will be grandfatherin 12(7) for every grand child I have.
That should keep a few prohib around for ag least a couple of more generation.
 
I am 45 and have a bunch of 12.6 pistols, including the only Gen III Glock 19 12.6 in the country. I went to BCIT in 2004/5 with a girl from Kamloops or somewhere like that, who turned 18 the day before the law came into effect her dad got a transfer done that day and as such she is the youngest person in Canada with 12.6, so theoretically she will end up with "all your base are belong to us" so long as the idiots stop wrecking or exporting them.

Am a newbie, licenced in Jan of this year. Am 56 yrs young:). Hubby and I have a few new toys:)))). Really like to go to the range about once a week, for the most part. Am in Ottawa, Ontario and shoot at Grenville Fish & Game Club in Prescott, Ontario.

I am 25 and because of that I will never own a nice snub or a PPK!!! :( ...at least here in Canada.

I thought liberals didn't approve of age discrimination?!
