13 inch MSW IWI X95 Tavor now Prohibited

Do we as customers have to send it directly to NS, not the retailers?

How do we apply for ATTs to send them out? I still have many questions...

I think we ship it to them, the details will be coming out in coming days. Also want to make sure that GST will be refunded.

A full refund (store credit) of your purchase price. And you also get to keep the dewatted Tavor.

That sounds like a fair deal from North Sylva.

That's not how I read it...

Options:
Consumer can return the gun to local law enforcement without refund.
Consumer can return the gun to our to be named deactivation site where it will be deactivated either to return to consumer at no charge,
or
become property of North Sylva and an in-store credit will be issued at full invoice value.

I'm assuming the meeting went something like this:
RCMP lab techs dropped an unobtainium full-auto trigger pack into the receiver housing followed by an fa bolt. Braaaap. Any questions?

Of course there would be crickets emanating from that meeting. Our gun laws and regulations suck ass and until we change that there's really nothing we can do about it.

I'm not defeatist, just a realist. Gotta pick yer battles.

Pre internet days they just came for the SPAZ 12's and "oopsie" Uzi's and you grudgingly handed them over.

Pretty much, they already have a FA bolt though.

Had a shower thought this weekend for anyone who opted to turn one in:

Apple Air Tags and other micro GPS trackers are now reasonably affordable and available. The X95 chassis has plenty of room, I'd be curious to see where the rifles went.

If I ever get the final-word on my Czh2003 and it's time to go. I'd definitely send it along with something that would give a rough idea of its eventual fate. Could be interesting to see a larger data set of multiple users and multiple rifles...

Any news since th NS Annoucements, where are the details.

Exclamation All owners of IWI (RESTRICTED) X95 MSW 13" AKA Micro Tavor
North Sylva is one of multiple importers of this product.

More details to follow.

We also need a method by which 2nd-hand owners (different from the retail purchaser), who can track down the original buyer of the rifle, can also be refunded. This could get complicated in a hurry....

Finding your own gunsmith to do a parts kit and torch cut would retain more value.
Filing a s74 buys you more time even if you plan to dewat.

that would be another option but wouldnt it be easier just to hand the receiver to the police instead?
