How many rounds did yours last before it broke 5.45?

Mine is almost new. But this is a known weakness of the 1301 trigger group, well documented in competition circles. This part tends to fail between 5-10k rounds, IIRC. Consider it a wear item.

Something to be aware of lest one might get caught with the pants down.

Shotguns with mag extensions are not legal to import hence one of the reason we won’t see the MLOK version from stoeger how ever you can always build your own

Very nice! Do you have a Mod 1 to compare the trigger to? Curious if there is a difference other than the shape.

How do you like the new forend?

No I don't have the previous version to compare, but I will say it has a better trigger than a lot of low to mid range rifles these days.

The forend is very aggressive, no slipping with sweaty hands for sure, much better than the neutered one that comes on the Canadian version I handled before making the plunge to import the real deal.

More update: was practising dual loading with the new gun today (my old hands don't cooperate with quads) and that pro-lifter is super sweet, makes loading almost as fast as a relieved port. That flat trigger is awesome!!! It shoots so fast I swear there are 8 empty hulls in the air at once!
