16 days of awaiting to ship then today order got cancelled

In the two orders I've had with them in the past, I've also had some shenanigans happen with my order. Not really sure what to think of CanAm these days. Hope your situation is resolved expeditiously, OP.
 
people dying at record numbers, US unemployment shot up 6.6 million last week
perhaps the vendor's order was stopped from coming to Canada in the US?

I'm going through a similar problem this them as we speak, ordered march 5th, been lied to over the phone as to when it would ship. Still nothing.
 
I have been waiting for a handgun for a few weeks from them. First time I recieved the transfer notice and ownership papers of the gun before I recieved the gun. Always a bit of swag in the order tho.

All these people suggesting that because were in a "crisis" people shouldnt be so upset about this stuff.

Thats ridiculous.

If a business is open and operating, even during a crisis, they should operate in an appropriate manner and treat their customers properly. Crisis or not.

The OP did EVERYTHING right. He called, emailed and chatted BEFORE posting here. He used this forum as his LAST resort only and didnt try to rip the company apart. The company, Canam in this case, didnt respond appropriately to ALL of his attempts so he's using their forum.

Ive had dozens of great transactions with Canam over the years. As have hundreds, maybe thousands of others on this forum. However, these good transactions do NOT somehow erase the bad experience the OP had. Just because YOU had a good experience doesnt mean the OP isnt entitled to a proper response from Canam.

I hope Canam reads this thread, responds properly to the OP and things are resolved in an appropriate manner. That is what SHOULD happen.

So because a bunch of people he's never met were stuck on a ship for a few weeks means he shouldnt expect to be treated properly by a company he's spending money with? How does that make any sense. If the guys from Canam were on the ship, then yes... those things are related. But what your saying just makes no sense. The OPs post was pretty glass half full if you ask me. He tried VERY hard to just be positive about it all. He doesnt deserve to be belittled.
 
I had a similar run-around last year and that, of course, had nothing to do with any pandemic.

I'd be willing to cut any company *some* slack these days but that's ridiculous and mirrors my experience. I'll never buy from them again.
 
That sucks...these are the bad times for us online ammo buying guys. I bought some and had a good experience with another company. Shipping was a lot but I got my package in a few days. PM if you want company name.
 
Yeah. The delay in order, waiting, (and shipping, waiting) is tough enough.

Then cancelled.

Perhaps there is a way to hire more people? I mean there are apparently 1.5m people in Canada looking for jobs. Some of them would probably be willing to work here.

If helps business sales and customer service.

New business model going forward as it doesn’t seem like social distancing will end anytime soon.
