16 inch barrel?

I have the Hawkeye compact in. 260 and my 11 year old son can shoot it all day long. It's also the most accurate rifle I own. It'll shoot a ragged hole at 100 yards with factory cor-lokts.

If you shoot on a range without hearing protection, hearing loss will be the same with a 26" barrel. When you're hunting, you're not shooting often.
No loaded firearms in your tent.

I have one in 338 federal and. Still get 2500fps with it and 200g bullet great little package. I would not hesitate for that prce

Curious, is that over a chono?

My Ruger Frontier 358 is far more accurate than I ever imagined a 16.5 " rifle would be .
And as for reach it has no problem bouncing 200 gr. Hornadys off the 300 yd. gong.
It filled a deer tag first time out...
I concur and echo this. I also have a 358 Frontier that will regularly print ~MOA.
Sweet little shooters they are, but I stayed away from the smaller cals with the short barrel to take advantage of expansion ratio.

It just takes one shot to damage ones hearing.
No loaded firearms in tent must be an Ontario thing.
