there does seems to be a lot of .17 m2 rifles on sale and no buyers...

If the price really goes down, then you'll see enough people willing to go in...ammo prices be "darned". We're still at the "cost-recovery" selling stage...

If you're interested, I've got a .17 HM2 reamer and barrel blank in the EE right now....my intended AR-15 conversion project is not going to happen. I've been sitting on the parts for a year, and the idea for about 3. Not enough hours in the day to do all the projects I'd like to.

Probably an excellent deal..but to me, $200 is already the better part of a rimfire rifle.......but it'd go a long way to making my $50 Cooey 39 a $300 rifle!
