Hey guys~visited this store for the first time tonight, and while I'm tempted to blab about my impressions of the place...I'll cut to the chase~they have rimfire ammo, specifically, Hornady 17M2. ($9.99 for a box of 50) They had some Federal .22, Winchester 333, Remington buckets (limit 1) and a few others. Seemed to be a good amount of HMR, and a couple of .22WMR options. No CCI SV, and the guy at the counter said they never did have it (store has only be open about a week).
So ammo~they have some, especially my beloved 17M2. The body cavity search to get it out of the store?
The guy at the gun counter checks your PAL (understood) but writes nothing down. Puts the ammo in a locked, green canvas bag. Once you reach the cash, they ask you to produce your PAL a second time, they then scan it! (?) Not cool to see your name pop-up on the computer screen. I don't like the idea of my name being written in the big ledger-like book at my more local shop, but I get the impression nobody really looks at that. To have a digital record of my ammo purchase? Doesn't sit well to be quite honest. Anyhow, thought I'd give you all a heads-up. I know there are some M2 lovers in Ontario.
