Rookie question here, if a rifle is stated as able to shoot 6.5 Creedmoor, does that mean it will also shoot 6.5x47 Lapua?
No, nothing like that happening with this rifle. Must be a different design now a days. Very clean ejection. The spent case doesn't touch anything.
Does moving that screw change any take-up? I was thinking of adjusting mine, but won't if it affects any take-up in the pull. Because now, there is no take-up at all. And I like it that way.
I'm surprised to read your stock flex problem ! I was looking at these BECAUSE of the stock advertising a full aluminum skeleton . How can it flex ? Broken aluminum ?
I have the same rifle as the OP and yes the stock flexes. It is not a B&C. I don’t believe the aluminum skeleton goes up the forend. I recall seeing a cut away picture of one and it stops somewhere just past the action.Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the understanding that the stocks on these are made by Bell & Carlson.
I've owned 2 Bell & Carlson stocks on Rem 700's and both had some forend flex. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't great in comparison to an HS Precision stock.
