I asked the guy and he said the type 3 is the last model used for korean war. Work for M14 and garand and of course norinco. and 50$ is a decent price too for a like new model.

Don't rush out to try and save yer #### from falling off (yet).

IF (and only if) you are going to compete WITH (most of you are casual shooters) iron sights then BUY THEM NOW....

IF you are going to scope your M14 (most of you fall into this category), then keep the cheesy Norinco-Stinko High School Shop Klass assembled Kommunist Xhinese sights where they are and save yer money !

I'm trying to help you save your money !

I did buy a set of sights for my M1 Garand (just hoarding them....) ;)

Sure thanks Hungry :)
Anyway I much prefer to use iron just for the fun of it, and I'm building an italian garand so I can always put this sight on my project later :)

These would be one minute of angle per click adjustment? Do you think they would be any good? I'm thinking I'd like a better iron sight on my second M14. First one is scoped.

Geez, Hungry...this set of instructions almost assumes that we're all going to ignore your previous advice to buy more than one...and run the risk of our dicks falling off once the M14's stop being available! :runaway:

I'd personally kinda like to have one scoped, one running iron sights...so maybe a Garand rear sight would be a good buy.:)

And in my fantasy world, I'd also have one in a SAGE EBR chassis, and one in Marstar's made in Canada chassis, and one in a laminate thumbhole stock, and one in a JAE stock, and three bone-stock still in their original packing grease and...

no more left
good thing i have 2 complete lockbar rear sights..... i was so tempted to grab one of these at that price..... Mine cost me 3 times that

Yes. What you are reading mostly is the U.S. being very reluctant to EXPORT these parts. As long as the stuff you buy overseas doesn't hit the Canadian import prohibited list AND any export restrictions from the originating country, there are lots of things that you can get from Europe and Asia that the U.S. will not allow to be exported.
