I thought Para Ord was gone-ski from Canada. Is there warranty service up here? Seems unlikely somehow.Para Ordnance LTC (4.25" bbl) in 9mm. Any problems you can just send it to the Company HQ in Scarborough ON
I placed an order through The Shooting Edge. They're essentially importing one for me. I should know on monday when and how much. The guys at Kodiac and Arms East should also be able to get them.
Their is a nice looking colt "commander" length 1911 in 9mm on the EE right now, If I had some F'n money i might have bought it already lol.
krausb, can do! If I don't get the answer I want I'm going to try Kodiac next.
So I stopped by The Edge today and had a quick chat with Jay. He told me they're only just starting production on the Guardian (which I knew), and after filling the American orders I probably won't see mine until mid summer. I was expecting, at a minimum, three months anyway. That is the latest. What do you guys think, is it worth trying Kodiak?
Is the Guardian not prohibited in Canada with a 3.9" factory barrel, or does STI offer an extended bull barrel with this gun?
Yeah, Jay did say something about the "importer" not having any. I've never dealt with Arms East before, but I'm going to give them a call tomorrow. As per your advice, I'll ask for Walt.
I think you are confused. We're talking about the Dan Wesson Guardian. It has a 4.3 inch barrel.
I understand. I just Googled the DW Gaurdian and it is pretty sweet looking. I don't know if it's $1500 US MSRP type sweet, but sweet none the less.
Spoke with Walt at Arms East this morning, he seems like a good s**t. He confirmed that TSE did contact him about the Guardian, and he expects to have them in Canada in under three months. The price was a little higher than I was expecting, but not out of line at $19xx, I don't remember the exact figure. So, that's the latest.
