ok i am a 1911 dilitant !
I have a few ideas on the fix but under the "no such thing as a silly question" clause.
heres the problem i have a stainless caspion 1911 it was built in Canada as caspian has no info to give me on it.
I have just noticed the the beaver tail is starting crack along the bottom of the spur , working its way from the edges to the center. Judging by the marks on the top of the beavertail I have notice that this might be because the the hammper is hitting it when it recocks .
so some advice guys
