Instead of spending your hard earned money on both and then soon after, selling one while taking a financial hit I would tell You - rent them.
Visit your local shooting indoor range and have quality time with each of them.
Don't worry about one being more accurate than the other.
Mechanically these are probably capable of the same accuracy, however mastering Glock trigger may take a bit longer.
1911 is classic, good looking pistol. If properly made it will last forever and is very easy to customize.
Glock on the other hand is extremely easy to take apart, dead reliable and super resistant to elements.
Cost of ammo is always a factor - remember about it, if You planning to shoot a lot.
Not many rental ranges in canada....maybe take a trip south if you want to do that...or find a local nut who has one or both and shoot for the cost of ammo and a coffee afterwards![]()
