1911 tests - enough to make TDC's head explode.

Ah, Boss,I don't think they use AD any more as it implys no fault, the new term I believe is ND -Negligent Discharge, not sure if thats PC or not.:p

yeah your right, however there are very rare occurences of ADs due to mechanical failures. Then again the word Glock leg seems to slowly be entering the lexicon as well. :D

Ok beat this....

If you run out of ammo which will give you a stronger pimp hand for the inevitable pistol whipping?

Clearly the 1911 wins :)

BEST POST EVER!

Was at an FBI range and an instructor muzzle punched a G22 into an everlast bag and broke the slide off. I also have HD video of a SF instructor muzzle punching a ipsc target during a drill. Fastest IA drill I ever saw. And it included a CQC tactic as well. LOL.

Mind you, by how far that glock frame was buried in the bag... It was clearly a fatality. Something about cross sectional density. ;)

Again, awesome post....

Give Airborne_69 some post lessons, maybe loan him some money so he can buy a good chair AND some guns.

Thank you for your valuable addition to the thread. What shall we talk about and discuss on a forum then?

Let's talk about how you are the guy who just recently recieved your RPAL, and then come into theis thread and crap on some people who were trying to have an intelligent debate?

How about that?

Nestor just immigrated to canada last year, of course he just got his rpal.... he is a regular on glocktalk. that being said he was a gun owner in the country he just moved from.

nice way to be a weiner.

a quote that may shed some light.....

As to the price point of the glock being under $500 there are plenty of pistols in the USA under that price point, from kahr to lorcin to bryco... even ruger's and a lot of other "brand" names.

And how many are preferred by top instructors? SWAT, SF, Police, PSD Teams, etc?

Name one you would rather carry in a fight?

Agreed

I was returning the favor. You are one to talk BTW

Edit: that explains the high and might addition to our kindergarten thread then.

I apologize, my post was unclear. The design was intended for ball ammo, correct. What I meant was that the design is dated when considering the advancements in ammunition. Its an old dinosaur that struggles to compete with modern designs. For pistol whipping, the 1911 is my first choice. The way tomato sauce stains tupperware, I can only imagine what blood would do. 1911 all the way.

ah finally agreement after 240 posts. :D

Because a hostile person, within a defensive context, and good shoot, is defined by the actions :Behaviour.

You are absolutely correct a .22 will immediately stop hostile behaviour sometimes, and also a .45 sometimes will not, and vice versa. Brandished, fired, or fired multiple times. As such the statement is 100% percent correct and accurate as there is no pistol round that will achieve the stated result 100% of the time.

There are 3 ways to stop aggressive behaviour. But that is for a PM or another thread. Or see the old knife fighting thread. ;)

Yours is truly a dizzing Intellect,.

I would have zero qualms carrying either a ruger or a kahr into a fight, both are built like tanks and both have good reputations for reliability, I have owned many rugers, fro the p85, p89, p90, p95 and the p97.... they have all been great guns.

if kahr's where available in canada I would own them as well.... I don't belive any one gun or "weapons" platform is a end all be all.... thats why I own handguns chambered from .22lr all the way up to 454 casull.

hahahahhahaha....

#### that was funny.

What is worse, is I simply pay someone to sit here and post for me....

By my math and your numbers. I come to the conclusion that you have 1/3 the life outside of online forums that YYYYY does. Post counts don't represent anything.

TDC

actually your math would be wrong, 5y has only been on the board for 1.5 years, AB69 has been on the board for ?4 years? so it would work out to just about equal posts per day....

actually I just looked, 5y has 2.80 posts per day and AB69 has 3.22 ..... so statistically they are equal.

Fear the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it....

Or as Bruce Lee said:

"I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.“

Now we have to debate who types faster, who has made the more posts in a smaller time, and so on.

You are either braver than most or ill informed. I wouldn't carry either but would err on the side of the Kahr over anything offered by Ruger. I do remember a recall of their latest wiz bang pistol?? Oh, and what is with the "I have owned" you don't own a Ruger anymore, why not?

The benefits of having access to the internet at work and at home 24h if this is the case, I would like to add that I've been a member of CGN far longer than you & your buddy.

I forgot about that. Although 2.8 and 3.22 aren't the same?? I guess you could say Airborne takes 3 times longer to formulate a response?
