My Norinco sport A1. First 1911 and I love it.

Can anyone tell me what cut the rear sights are on the Norinco 1911s? I am expecting mine hopefully sooner than later and I want to change those ugly sights out!

Hi guys a bit of a newbie here. I've been offered a mid 2000's colt 1911 45 s/s gold cup trophy. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet but I've been told by the owner that it's mint and been sitting in his gun safe for a few years. He said he brought it brand new and has fired about 100 rounds. He want's about $500 for it. Does this sounds like a fair price if mint. Also I was wondering if it's easy to get a 22lr conversion kit as shooting 45's is going to fun but long term I would like a cheaper option to keep my wife happy Thanks for any help.

I think the springfield SS TRP is the best 1911 (for the money) commercially available. Great choice!!! If you don't mind me asking, how much and from where? Been looking for one for a while now.

Sorry, no springfield in the bunch. If you're looking at the gun with a rail, it's a S&W E series.
