1911's Pics Thread

I picked up 2 1911's in the last few weeks, one SAM commander which is getting a tune and some of the crappyer parts replaced ie:extractor,sear spring, mainspring and housing, full length guide rod

she will be a real shooter when im done

I also picked up a Norc NP-30 high cap 45 on the cheap and have yet to try it out, she is a big ol boomer tho, nice fit for my big hands

This is my STI/SVI(etc.) single stack I use in Classic division of IPSC. 40S&W but I load long with 10mm Tripp Mags. Flat shooter. Actually having my primary IPSC 1911 being built from scratch so when that one comes in, this one will likely be sold.

It's funny you should say that since things like Canadian flags, patches, banners etc are mostly made in China nowadays. You'd be hard pressed to take a piss in the wind and not have it land on
something that wasn't made in China.

I've got a Remington 1911, would I be wrong if I wanted to put a Canadian flag on it, or would make more sense to put an Americanflag on it?

Picked up another Colt O1980RG Rail Gun,have a 2011 Model,hoping to send one to Colt Custom Shop,whenever they start accepting new work

Noticed the Finish on the 2013 is more Matte and seems thinner,the 2011 Model appears glossier,thicker and hasnt held up very well,curious to see if this finish holds up better,I prefer the look of the new one
