Put new grips on the SR1911, not sure I'll leave them on this gun, they may look better on a black 1911, and in that case, I will have to buy a black 1911.....bummer......NOT LOL

What grips are those?

I got them from a guy down south, they are machined aluminum with a silver anodizing. Tactical4less is the guys company name, tough guy to deal with and these were a by-product of a lengthy painful deal. After maybe 6 months I ended up with laser grips for a 1911 that actually work, and these aluminum ones.

Is there any chance at all somebody knows a source for flat, checkered mainspring housings with a lanyard ring? I'm trying to put together a GI clone and it's the last piece of my puzzle.
