The only thing catching my eye is the smaller then typical cutout in the magazine area..... should be a fun shooter when you get it done!My twenty-year-project Longslide in .450 SMC under construction. (Right now, filing for frame-slide fitting.) The astute eye will notice a particular oddity...
Government frame, 7" slide and barrel. The radius cut is only to the same depth from the muzzle as a Government, more like The Shadow's "Silver Heat" Grizzlies than going all the way bak to the dustcover like the Terminator's AMT.Is that a commander frame?

Once we can buy handguns again I'd like to pick up the other m1914s from the other 3 years that these were made under occupationI regret not buying the Krongsberg that was offered to me but yours with the dirty birds is very special indeed
Great project. I'm a big fan of the long slide 1911. I have a 6", but have been tempted to get a 7" slide assembly from Fusion. My twenty-year-project Longslide in .450 SMC under construction. (Right now, filing for frame-slide fitting.) The astute eye will notice a particular oddity...
