I hope not *everyone* wants one.
It ain't the holiest of holies being a repro, but knowing I will never have the real thing, having the next best is ok to settle with. It looks like a real winner by itself anyhow.

I totally agree,
But the fact remains that only 500 of these were ever made. The tribute units will pay homage to the originals with the greatest respect possible.
We only wanted to do this because the chances of ever seeing a real Singer in Canada is 0%.
I promise to keep eveyone updated and my partner in this is promising to join this site as a dealer once we launch his new website.

My confession I am addicted to tinkering with 1911s!
Latest build, no nonsense Commander. Started with raw Dlask frame shortened to commander length. Patiently hand mated to match grade slide with top rib, lowered and flared ejection port, target sights. Full length guide rod, black carbon trigger as only radical mods. Standard commander grip safety, thumb safety, and MSH. Parked in GI green (by my buddy Nick) finished off with black anodized alumagrips.
