wow....thats sweeeet!!....where did u order it from??

its part of Para's Appreciation for Service Program. Offers an amazing deal for members of the CF (and the armed forces in the states). $750 for the pistol, night sights, 5 mags...and then a few other fees, shipping and tax to get it to your door.

the canadian program offers 2 different pistols every year...this year was a single-stack 45 and the double stack 40

just popped the cherry today with 13rds after an ipsc match. the ammo i load is reallllllly light, and the gun cycled real smooth with a light rock back and forth. great group on it too! only complaint is the trigger is a little tight, and i will likely get it smoothed out and reduced.

total for mine was $932, and i couldnt complain with shipping because it showed up within 24hrs after it shipped!

Nice RR Steve. Where did she come from?

Hey Danny, It was a lucky find in the EE. A member on here who deals with a lot of milsurp stuff bought the pistol from an oldtimer and was selling it. I think the post was up for...about 12 seconds before I called dibs :) It's a nice one with the du-lite finish in good condition (looks better in person).

Just recently picked up a 42 Colt also, waiting for it to arrive, really nice also, matching slide, correct barrel, mag, one of the first G.H.D. stamped Colts build in late 1942. Pretty decent original finish too with a bit of holster wear. Pics soon!!

Still seeking out a US&S it's proved to be the most challenging to find, and eventually an Ithaca too.

-Steve
