$1299 for blued and $1349 for stainless. All forged, but probably mid level. I was holding out for a colt, but reviews actually put Springfield higher in quality control/fit and finish. If everything goes down like it might, resale is the last thing anyone will worry about anyways…

I have to say though, Back Country Sports has been fantastic. They sent me the application to transfer confirmation within a couple hours of my purchase. Much better than others that have left me hanging, going on two weeks...

Just got my Transfer Processed and now my Canik TP9 Elite Combat is being shipped from The Bullet Box Store in Nova Scotia.

On their website they still show a Springfield 1911 45ACP. You have to call to confirm stock and price, probably only 1.

Just got off the phone with rdsc. Was informed that they sold the 7 1911s they were allocated 22 times and that they’re working on who of the 22 are actually getting pistols… I was a bit taken back to be honest. The guy actually had the nerve to tell me that they’re having trouble figuring out the list because customers are interrupting the count! I don’t see the charge on my cc, but the authorization is still reflected on my balance. I’m guessing I didn’t make the cut.

Ouch. I had a similar experience with another store last week, just because the website was so overloaded. Ended up paying for the same gun 6 times due to all the failed attempts, but I'm getting my refunds at least.
