Man I regret not purchasing a Combat Elite Commander when I had the chance. I've been so focused on buying other handguns..
I really like my combat elite.

Got some new grips and screws for it today and now I like it even more...

I wish I grabbed a bul armory 1911 or a newer colt gold cup in 9mm eariler.
Or that tangfolio I was eyeing up on the ee a month or two ago

3500$ on #######...should I?..
It’s a second-hand combat elite....so that’s a hard no. Only Colt’s worth $3500 are those rolling out of the custom shop, and even that’s a stretch. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love a 1970CY, but I have a very hard time believing even that is worth Guncrafter/Ed Brown/Nighthawk money.
But you know what they say about opinions...
It's supposedly new: it was 2850$ retail at CRAFM, with Quebec Taxes that would've come up to 3300$...but yeah that's a lot of money for one piece

YOLO, or whatever. I guess I’m fortunate to have a few nice 1911’s already so can afford to be picky/over-critical.

If you want a great 1911 talk this dude down a bit......$2750. If he’s smart he’ll take it and you’ll have a close to custom 1911.
The secondary prices are absolutely insane.. Is this really it for 1911's coming in via dealers? I want a nice Ruger or Springfield but I'm not about to drop $2k.
This is really it for ALL handguns, nothing new is entering the country.
Logic would say otherwise. In order for there to be lots of handguns available, supply and demand would have to balance out. As long as the import ban remains in place, they can’t balance out. Especially with c21 looming.True, but how many bought one or 2 or 3 or 4 on impulse?
Once the panic is over, there will be lost of handguns for sale. Especially if C-21 is delayed.
