So you said you used all of them I am curious as to why you prefer the Sage over the Blackfeather?
I prefer the Sage visually. It also just feels right to me both in my hands as well as shouldered. I’m sure I could have the Blackfeather feel just as good shouldered by swapping out buttstocks to find what feels right but for me the Sage feels right straight out of the box. I’m 6’7” 240lbs and physically active so the weight differences are secondary to me.
It may not be the first choice for me for all scenarios but in my dreams it always about defending a stationary position from zombies! Lol

The Blackfeather in the photo is my cousins. The norinco in the wood is unfired and is going stay that way for now anyways.

I remember a case where an importer had to modify some grey market sage product to satisfy import regs or something along those lines. It had something to do with the buttstock assemblies.
Perhaps we are scratching the surface of that here?
anyone remember what I'm talking about?
I recently ordered a new sage chassis with selector cutout cover as well as a spare cut out cover for one of my other older chassis.
It appears that the newer chassis and covers have different dimensions that the older versions. The new cover won’t fit into the cutout on one of my older chassis. Not a big deal, but something to note. On the new chassis I received this week, all the parts that used to be grey (stock button, sling mounts etc) came black. Very nice looking unit![]()
