So,, if I put my 49 up on the EE, would I expect around $650? It is good shape and frankenpinned never fired refurb orig from Westrifle about 2.5 years ago. Sitting in the safe?
My '49 (dust) collector. The hardest gun for me to justify keeping, as it is the only gun I own that doesn't get shot.

That has to be the most beautiful SKS stock I have ever seen! Is it a matter of lighting or is that they way it looks for real?![]()
Just looked at mine, first time in a year, so, it has the right groove for the spike but the stock is laminated, looks better than I remember!Yeah, thats where I am at wit mine too. Probably just a matter of time and mine will go up for sale. Just have to determine what Im gonna ask![]()
My 1949 has no refurb stamp on it anywhere. All numbers match.
It does have a laminated stock, so that indicates (to me anyway) that it's a refurb.
It has the 90* gas block and spring-loaded firing pin.
Shoots much better than my 1952 & 1953
