This was only done because of me finally scanning old family photos....it has been a huge project that I have resisted starting for many years.....still not finished.
My maternal Grandfather died when I was very young...I never knew him, so my paternal Grandfather did double duty.
My maternal Grandfather died in 1948. (Nov 25 1886-July 2 1948)
The following is a mix of photos mostly dating back to the 1950s.
I found this one as being rather interesting in the lane behind may parents house in 1950---deliverying milk before the truck.
This was one of our early boats at the cottage----we were heading to the islands for a picnic.
My Grandfather and me driving the boat.
My Grandfather was a horseman and my Father (on the left) was brought up with the pony shown below.
My Grandfather loved baseball and hockey and he was very supportive of my interest in hockey.

In the early 1950s my Father built a rink in our backyard ...the photo below shows my Grandfather scouting for talent. Note the light for night games. Two nets were added later.
As my Grandfather was getting into golf he still liked to play a little baseball, and had my Father to build some backstops .....also doubled for practicing his golf shots.
This Model 1897 Winchester shotgun belonged to my Grandfather....my Father goose hunting.
I don't have my Grandfather's shotgun.....but I have a U.S milsurp WWII Winchester M97 trench gun...my how times have changed.
1952....hunting in the swamp for frogs with Grandpa.
My Grandpa... he sure loved his pipe. (Nov 24 1884-Dec 1962.)
