2/3 size IPSC Target

Doesn't this decision have more to do with the political situation across the pond?

Aren't the shooting sports under attack in Britain, France etc even more than they are here in North America?

In that case it seems that it would be reasonable for them to be a little overly cautious.

After reading through this thread I still don't get what the big deal is. So we can't mix different sized paper targets...so what? Personally I couldn't care less...seems like a lot of gnashing of teeth over nothing.

When metric targets were in use was it legal to mix metric and classic targets in a stage? Metrics went out just when I joined and I don't recall what the rule was.

oh my gawd we could't mix metric and classic targets? the horror! think of the children, oh wait, wasn't that the reason why in the first place? (actually I knew was the case, just felt the need to lighten things up).

regardless of the reason why we can't mix the two targets, we've now got them. If it's such a big deal to some of you, put your names in the hat for Region Rep, and then take the time to win the position, and convince other Region reps to see your way, make a motion at the next gathering you can attend, and have it passed. sounds easy to me.

So, does anyone in Ontario have those small ones yet?
