Agreed, which is why I didn't buy one until I found a seller who had a more realistic price. Don't forget, unlike the other companies who make their guns specifically for the commercial market, up until this point Colt Canada has only made firearms for military and police consumption only. They didn't look for ways to reduce costs on the SA15.7 and SA20 like a commercial company would have. It's kind of pointless to compare CC to commercial AR manufacturers IMO. They simply don't have the same focus. Perhaps things will change in the future but it doesn't sound like CC has any intention of making commercial sales a big priority which is fine by me. Not that I wouldn't love a complete CC IUR but having something that is not too common is cool too. And it's the closest I will get to owning a CF issue rifle like I used for 22 years.
