How much do you guys pay for 20ga shells? Not specifically any load just for messing around back in the woods.
How are people getting a flat of ammo for $51?!? LOL
The best "deal" I can find is 100 rounds at CT or Walmart for $29-$31
Try a gun shop.
My local gun shop is worse!...They are pretty pricey on ammo
If you feel like supporting the heartless conglomerate Wal-Mart, then the Winchester Universals in the 100 round packs are 30 bucks. I don't have a 20ga of my own, so I don't price it out at the gun shops I frequent. I can't imagine it being too much more, if at all.
WSS and their competition sells for less!
Before people chime in here saying the universals are junk, and worthless and all that hooplah, I've been through the better part of 1000 rounds of them in various shot sizes and NEVER had a problem. They cycle through ALL 3 of my pump guns, and my single shot never fails to eject them
I agree! It is usually the cheap gun's fault, but many are quick to blame the cheap shells. I don't mind the universals, but $30.00/hundred is too much!
A flat is usually 10 boxs of 25 shells for a total of 250. It is a flat open top cardboard box like how Coke used to be packed for cans and is how shells are shipped. A bunch of flats are then piled on a pallet.
I got 300 rds for sale 85$
A tad of useless information ... A case is 500 shells, which is how all ammunition was packed. Some sub-gauge ammunition is still packaged in a case of 500 shells.
