Nothing wrong with having plenty of ammo, stick it away for the time being and get some Bulgarian circle 10 for your SVT. It's great ammo, my shooter SVT loves it.

I think I also got a svt38 mag, a depress each side? Mine was completely jam didn't go down at all and didn't activate the bolt holds open. Wen I was able to press doew bard enough on it it finally went down but after that I was not able to bring it back up even wen I disassemble it. I had to switch follower with another mag and voila now it works perfectly.
 
They don't look like original pouches. I don't know the history behind this "polish military school", but original soviet pouches look different.

I can't help thinking that we (myself included ) are happy to take advantage of gullible dealers when they sell too cheap. $200 is cheap, $700 is expensive, and all from the same dealer.

They have been in business since 1949 and they import their SVT's and SKS's directly from Europe like Marstar does. Yes, $200 is a fantastic price even with shipping on top of the cost(glad I live in Alberta because the tax was only $12.67!!!). I myself ordered an SVT with a Naval stock like many other members on here because I haven't seen any SVT's locally with that type of stock. Our Wholesale Sports sold out of SVT's long ago and Milarm had them on for $250 but they are long gone too. I ordered a 1941 Izhevsk with 6 baffle muzzle break. I hope I get a decent one lol...

I really want another one now, one with the two port break and a non naval stock; they told me buying guns was addictive. I will try pouring boiling water into my mag, I am not kidding when I say it feels full. My naval stock had two cut outs for the AVT style selector. Do they all have that or do I have a naval AVT stock?

And I have two lol and I treasure them. I have them on two of the three Podolsk's I own. I know, I need a life lol... Boy the Americans get so jealous when we talk about our Soviet collections lol although I wish we could own AK-47's like we use too...

Americans don't like pinned mags. I saw several times original unpinned SVT-40 and SVT-38 mags going cheaper or at the same price on GB than here on EE. I think it's because they don't have as much SVTs as we do and there's no huge demand for mags.
 
Yes they don't like them pinned, I tried to sell SVT 40 mag on ebay went cheap they did not touch it since it was pinned
