To answer the questions:

1. Lever Arms Purchase

2. Shipping to AB was only $150 and another member here got shipping for only $200 to Ontario.

3. That is a 1/3 full crate of K98's, but I do have a full crate not pictured.

4. The 1939 Tula is now in total SVT40 configuration minus the receiver (which makes it hard to determine whether it was a conversion or left over receiver - I have a 1938 K98 receiver that was rejected but then actually finished in the early 1940's by another factory which makes it a rare double code rifle).

5. Yes....I love milsups and I love collecting by the crate. This was actually crate #2 of SVT's. I sold 4x rifles to a friend last night (Kovrov, 2x Izzy 40/41 and a 1943 Tula with Navel stock). I will probably sell at least 1-6 more. The plan is 1x crate of SVTs, 91/30's, K98's and SKS's and one SVT crate with one row of K98's, one row SVT's and one row 91/30's (as they all fit in an SVT crate) for a total of 5x crates. Sounds fair right????

Okay. I received my crate last week, but finally had a chance to open it tonight.

3x Kovrov's (2x Narrow Oval and 1x Wide Oval)
6x 1940/41 Izzy's
1x 1939 Tula
5x 1941 Tula with side rails

About 5-6 rifles had stock repairs, but the max was 2x stock repairs on one rifle, so overall good condition.

I think 2 if not 3 rifles had navel stocks and then about a 50/50 split between AVT and standard stocks.

Other parts were all mixed as always.

The 1939 is the real bonus as it used to be a SVT38 or was a left over receiver made into an SVT40 in early the 1940's.

I am keeping the 1939 for sure, I didn't even know that was an option! I was hoping on a Kovrov 1940, Tula 1941 without scope rails, Tula 1945, or any Sniper.

In away, I'm even happier, as I have never seen a 1939 Tula and have seen all of the above rifles that I was hoping for.

Man, you did REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY well in this deal. Yes, you should treasure that 1939 for sure!

You must be a single guy right? lol... My wife would freak. I love the pics.

Single? Yes, officially divorced on 01 Feb 2014. But I will not confirm nor deny that my separation had anything to do with my Firearms/Hunting/Taxidermy. But I will say that "A steady job and a wife have been the ruin of many a fine Hunter".

Luckily the legal papers are written up, so everything is still mine and I don't need to listen to the routine threat "How are you going to sleep in that???". Instead I buy the crate, and worry about how I may need to sleep on it afterwards. LOL

Some Pics. Of the re-filling my crate. Pouch variations. And, 5x rifles that are going on the EE tomorrow.

Isn't it amazing what a guy can get into when the wife leaves him. After 32 years of marraige the wife left and now I have more hobbies than I ever had befor. A great trade :)

Yeah, I just assumed that kept my sling, too. I was already pissed at Lever, anyway
I bought a couple of SVT's from SFRC a few months ago for $299 and didn't gets slings with them either. Just the crappy ammo pouch and useless cleaning tools/oil can. I have a grocery bag full of that stuff I want to get rid of lol. Think the American's will want them on Ebay lol?

Hey, two hundred bucks for a rifle that has a current market value 50% higher than that? And you guys are pissed 'cause the sling isn't there?

C'est dommage. The savings come from somewhere. I imagine the slings will be for sale shortly.

Lol...not pissed, just disappointed. I actually bought a bunch of original slings locally for $10 each. A rifle without a sling is like a cowboy without his hat...

How much will you be pricing the rifles you plan to list tomorrow?

i didn't say I was pissed, since for 200 i'll buy the stuff I want, but a tool pouch would have been handy, as well as a gas tool if they had them. Really, what are they gonna do with a bunch of ruskie slings? I have a ppsh sling that fits the naval stock fairly well.
