2005 bucks

Shot this buck second day of rifle season, also got a smaller 8 point at the same time. They were getting ready to fight. His ear is half chewed off and he had an infected antler poke wound on the back of his neck.

This is my rifle buck from this year. It's not a real big guy, he was a tank body wise though. I was happy with how the hunt went, however . Tikka 695, in 7mm Rem mag, 140 gr Nosler balistic tips pushing just over 3000 fps at the muzzle. 404 yards on the range finder, one shot, though the heart. He made it 100 yards to the edge of the field and fell dead there.

Sorry, I know the picture is a little fuzzy, my 77 year old great uncle and I were hunting together, and he had never used a camera until this year, and he was the one who took the picture.

05 season

Well, I guess I may as well repost my pics.
My bull Elk 7x57 mauser, 200yards. 2 minutes into season, opening day.

My Whitetail, 3 hour hunt. 60 yards with the same gun.Best of all, both were on my families home property.
