2006 deer photo's

This is the mule deer buck I took this year on my second hunt - minus 35 with the wind chill - also got a couple of spikers and a doe. Included pics of the harvest from our first trip out as well - can't see them all, but there are 31 hanging.

Freezer's full!!!

Fester - that is funny! Bust a gut on that one.

This is the Mule Deer I took this season!! He was a very big bodied deer, took him @ 150yds on the run and used two shells because he was heading for a very deep ravine. He is very even and quite thick, by far the heaviest deer I've ever hoisted!! I used old faithful my semi auto .308 Rem Mod 742 with cheap old Win Super X 150gr soft points!!! Also will get pics of my Whitey and hopefully post today

Thanx Levi !! Not the biggest in the country but can't pass him by on the last day. Here are some pics of my whitetail, he had some ground shrinkage!!! I was walking down a ravine (we had noticed some does in there) when he popped up and i saw the six points on the one side......bang flop and only four on the other what do ya do I guess....still not too bad, he's an old hog real heavy bases (for our country anyways). Same gun and shell the good old .308

Before and after pics of the nice little buck I got yesterday (opeing day).

All cleaned out, he weighed in at 140lbs at the butcher. Took him at 127 yds with 12ga slug. Perfect broadside through the lungs. He bucked up like a stallion, flopped over, then got up and wobbled off 20-30 yds with his tail flapping like crazy before dropping one last time.

Firearm: Savage 210F Slug Warrior w/ Leupold 6x Fixed power.
Ammo: Winchester Partition Gold 2 3/4" @ 1900 fps.

Deer: Delicious!

Love the 6.5x55 swede

Nice Buck. I love my 6.5x55 swede. Deadly accurate, low recoil :D

Here's the Doe taken near Port Loring ON, on lasts weeks rifle hunt. First time I got to use the 6.5 x 55 Swede. The shot was not long, but it was accurate.

Here's my nice Lanark county Ontario 10 point. Called him in with a grunt call & dispatched him from 30ft with a 6.5x55 swede. Gave a big jump at the hit then ran about 30ft before dropping. Dressed out 185lb.
