2007 IPSC Canadian Nationals

^ That and limo service (believe it) is often much cheaper as it is a static rate not metered.

There is also a green airport shuttle that goes to pretty much every major hotel that cycles out of the YVR. IIRC it is $10

Dugy is right, I've often used limo services instead of taxis, as it's a flat rate, and often much cheaper than a taxi. you also stuff a lot of people in a limo.
come closer to the date, I might be able to help setup a carpool for people landing in Abby.

anyone checked out the updated list lately?
"E Bragg" is coming.

He's buddies with an Alberta shooter, who talked Manny Bragg into coming. Not to mention to put on a course right before the match :)

Manny is the USPSA Area 3 director in the US and had an awesome 2006 shooting season... He took HOA at 5 of the 6 Area matches he attended (A1, A2, A3, A6 & A8) and won Area 1 and Area 3 in the same weekend.

And for all of you who plan to attend the Alberta Provincials, he'll be competing there as well

I'm trying to talk Phil Strader, Max Michel Jr, Travis Tomasie, Matt Mink, Ted Puente and Michael Voight into coming to the Canadian Nationals if they can fit it into their schedules...

Frankly, Scarlett my dear, I'm so pi$$ed at this ICS BS that I'll sit this one out.

I was perfectly happy with the rankings that we've had for years.

Actually...for better or worse...it's been used for the "National" ranking since the Barrie Nationals in 2004...

That is a bit of a surprise...don't think it happened out here

I may be confusing things

You will have a "provincial Classifiction" depending on what section you belong to. I'm not aware of any Sections using the ICS ranking to Classify their members...but I could be wrong.

For the National Championships...it was decided a few years ago to use the Regionaly Calculated ICS ranking to classify you for that match. This will be the 4th year that it's been in use

Barrie in 2004
Springfield in 2005
Kingston in 2006

...and this year in Poco...

It's not a perfect system...but I don't know if there's a better one for ranking a bunch of people accross Canada that may not compete at the same matches (other than the Nats)

Shoot some ICS stages...and we'll see you at the match

There's better things to get pissed off at

Besides...I hear Hungry Beagle is buying everyone beer
