2008 IPSC Nationals Website Link

Well, things are starting to come together for Nationals. Our first stage sponsor was Ken from Shooter’s Gear. Since then we have had Len from Phoenix, Frank at Two Alpha, Jack from RU Ready Timers and CED all take on a stage. DA Electric is our first Divisional Sponsor. A big thank you for our sponsors as without them we would not be able to put on a match of this side.
 
just wondering about the match hotel,,....would you recommend the hotel or motel rate rooms....?
 
Well i think the motel rooms are bigger but the hotel rooms are nicer. also the motel is ground floor while the hotel you have to use a small elevator.
 
The only thing I am wondering is about transportation,..thinking of a rental for the 5 days.
 
OK, for those of you who are having problems getting the dates you want for the match hotel becuase it is booked up we have a secondary motel now, the Pepper Tree Inn. I am not sure if this number works outside of Alberta but their toll free number is 1 800 708 8638. if not then 1 -403 -328-4436. they have quoted me the following rates good till June 1:

Single $60 a night plus taxes
Double $75 a night plus taxes
Suite with out kitchen $85 a night plus taxes
Suite with Kitchen $90 a night plus Taxes

this motel is kitty corner to the match hotel. it is the motel we normally use for matches in Lethbridge but it does have a pool and a hot tub. their website is: http://www.peppertreeinn.ca/index.htm
 
Double Tap Sports has made arrangements with Police Ordnance and GLOCK yes you have read correctly GLOCK and they will be sponsoring part of the match!
There will be a Glock 17 as a prize! :shotgun:

Well it just keeps getting better and better for Nationals. I just received confirmation today that Universal Ford out of Calgary just came on board as a Gold Sponsor in addition to being a stage sponsor for Alberta Provincials. Thanks to Steve B for his hard work on this.
 
I lucked out and got a room for 5 nights,...wed-sunday a the Best Western. I guess they had a cancellation.
