If anyone from Ontario wants me to take some ammo out for them I am leaving on July 25th. Driving a magnum I should have penty of room.

A few bucks to help with gas would be appreciated.

Shipping ammo unless you are a dealer and qualified to pack or verified packing for dangerous cargo it is pretty much illegal to ship these day......at least if you declare the ammo to the carrier it won't be accepted by them.....
Try Canpar - they have no problem with trucking ammuntion.

Sean I have tried them when I lived in NS and they wouldn't take it....I then tried all the other carriers and got the same response.....and then I did what I had to do..... ;)

I am hoping/presuming if you are going to Drumheller that you'll visit the Royal Tyrell Museum (dinosaur museum). It's pretty cool (and not much else to see there other than hoodoos).

Second vote for Banff. If you're going to come all this way you have to make it to the Rocky Mountains. I would highly recommend heading to Banff and Lake Louise (only another 45 min past Banff). There's also Waterton Lakes National Park in southwestern Alberta which won't be that far from Lethbridge (it's in the mountains too). Heck, if you're going that far it's only another 7.5-8.0 hours to Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean for that matter :)
Try the Homesteader museum down town or the dinosaur trail

Well, we had a good weekend getting props built for Nationals. Prior to this weekend i had built a 160 new target stands. Well on Sunday Kevin M. came out from Calgary with his drill pressed and drilled out a about half of them. then a group effort of Jan, Everett, and Rick R. finished them off.

As well this weekend we built a 100 portable wall frames. next weekend we will be sheathing them.

I would like to thank Jan, Everett, Rick R., Kevin M., and Murray for coming out this weekend and helping Cathy and me with the building. it made a daunting task a lot more easy.

Just an update on hotel rooms at the match hotel, the Hidelberg. They now have another lot of rooms open. For Reservations, Call 1-800-791-8488.

Well time is getting short to register for the 2008 Canadian Nationals. If you have never attend a Nationals this is a good time to start. i have set up a match that can easily handle 300 people in three days. 16 active ranges, 21 stages and fixed CRO/ROs. don't worry if you are not a Master class shooter. anyone can shoot Nationals if they have their Black Badge.

anyone looking to split a room and or car rental with a non violent, non-homosexual male,..PM me...

Maurice what day you arriving? I'm trying to get there, but won't arrive til Thursday afternoon at the earliest.

I am arriving Wednesday afternoon (if I get the flight I want),....leaving monday morning).

If I had to, I would drive up from Lethbridge to get you,..I guess if we know the day we are shooting it would help to figure out this stuff. I might just come up Thursday if it helped and I was not shooting until Friday. I would cut costs for the day....
