In other news, should be there Friday sometime. Should I find and check in with Ernie when I get there C2K? Assuming I get there before you of course.
 
Okee, still a go for me and my buddy Lee...BUT, my daughter is sick, so Penny and the kids are probably staying home :(

If the kid is better she will come down saturday morning.

I will be there Friday night some time after work :D

Farmer harv texted me earlier to say he was there and already killed all the gophers! He better leave a few!

Looks great Beritel! Now you just need to load 'er up and go shootin!

Had a pretty good shoot down at Ernie's on Friday. Found a couple of 2 hour patches to sit 'n shoot in, and drove and trolled through quite a few more as the day went on. Fired about 400 rounds each of .17 and .22, but with the 30k winds I was only batting about .350 for the day.

And, of course, it rained that night. Saturday am was cool and breezy, and was only able to pop a few before I had to head back home. Thought about heading back down this morning to shoot with C2K, but the hangover and nasty head cold made the decision to stay home pretty easy.

We didnt have a great shoot Saturday, but it was still decent!!

Today was ALOT better!! Wasnt as windy, and the sun was bright and hot!

Myself, wife, kids, and TJHaile had a great time killing gophers today! Gimme a few and I will have pix N video :D

Youtube didnt like my choice of background music so they muted the sound...
 
i noticed earlier in the month(after you'd all left) that while the .204 made for a gooey rain, the .223 would often as not just wound them, i was quite disapointed to watch a solidly hit gopher crawl off...
