Chinese m1 carbines!

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I would wet my pants if Norc or someone else made some (reasonably priced) non-restricted M1 Carbines. I think a lot of folks would buy them if they were brought in.

I'm wondering what the market would be for a rechambered M1 Carbine.

I would consider anything less than .50/round to be cheap for 30 carbine. Here at Cabela's (in ND), the cheapest Wolf stuff is around .30/round.

How about .223, would that be possible, or is the round too long to fit in the M1 mag? Maybe 5.7x28, .357mag or 9mm? All else fails the .22mag would be a cheaper alternative.

Oh, if that's the case, there isn't really a point.

I haven't seen any in my area (didn't look). Thought it would be more expensive than that.

At almost the same price of 9mm per 50 rounds.....yikes no thanks...how about a Marlin camp carbine copy with a 18.6" barrel that takes Ruger mags?

We all don't live in Ontario. If it took pistol mags it would be limited to 10 not 5.

yes please... pipe dream i know, but i would buy one! I know that the M1 was modified to shoot a 10mmMAG without issues.
