Rimfire pistol mags are still limited to 10 rounds. (Unless like the Ruger Charger, they happen to take a rifle mag)

Nothing at all. .30 would still be my first choice. But its fun to imagine other calibers too.

The M1A1 paratrooper model with the pistol grip and side-folding stock in .22mag with a 20 or 30 round magazine, would sure be fun, especially at CanAm prices. Nothing wrong with other calibers, but being limited to 5 rounds in most cases takes the fun out of target shooting.
I agree. 10 is the limit for pistols rimfire or centerfire.

Any word on the Short .22 bolt actions rifles. I just reviewed this entire thread and the last thing mentioned from Canam about this was about the middle of Dec 2008 when he advised they would be on the next boat. When is the next boat expected to arrive??? I'm looking for a .22 rifle , want this one but in reality I need it before summer. Any info on the ETA would be GREATLY appreciated.
