Here's a few pictures of the deer I shot on the 3rd of September, as well as the deer my cousin took on the 1st. I might post the scores later once they've been officially measured....

I shot mine at 50 yards with a Mathews DXT.

He shot his at 75 yards with an APA Viper.

Edit: I know of one that should go close to the 220 mark if he's interested in a non-typical. If he's looking for a clean typical it might take awhile before I can get him on one..
 
Very nice. I got a P&Y bear once years ago and think archery hunting is a rush.

Lol.. I normally don't hunt with anyone outside of family when it comes to mule deer. Wookie is referring to a mutual friend who took me out moose hunting last fall a couple of times. I'm merely returning the favor...

And as far as where we hunt? I can't even begin to elaborate on an area. Between my cousins and myself we normally take down a 210+ gross non-typical or 190+ gross typical every year.. Some years we take down a few..

I honestly didn't get out as much this year as I have in the past. I ended up working over 300 hours in the month of August so I was limited on daylight. I might have accumulated 2000km. throughout the fall scouting and hunting thus far. It's been a relatively short lived fall in comparison to most..

You didnt happen to take that deer off zone 2 east did you? By brother in-law has some pics of deer that looks like that guy.

I can't speak for my cousin, but no one knew where my deer was this year. I watched him for a few weeks prior to the season and got some decent video on him a week before the season. I also had my cousin watch him a few times when I wasn't able to make it out. There was never a vehicle anywhere near this deer that either of us had seen. I do not doubt that your brother in law has some good pics of a big deer, but I highly doubt it was this one.
