No brakes allowed in competition, PERIOD and if you are going to compete, you must have your rifle inspected and certified (sticker on it) BEFORE Friday morning.

"Failure to submit a rifle(s) for inspection or use of a rifle which has not been inspected will result in the competitor being deemed ineligible and/or disqualified from the match and prizes."

Thursday June 30, 2011
1200 - 1500 Range set up, competitor registration and rifle inspection
1300 - 1500 Open practice range at 800m

Machine, Kodiak is our Western match nazi. He would seriously like to shoot people that do not comply with orders, but we're working on it. :)

The match is run according to ICFRA rules, and it is very important to have all the inspections and weigh-ins to be done prior to the start of match. Squadding and stats all need to be in place prior to first round down range.

Muzzle brakes - apart from giving some people an advantaege, are very "rude" to shoot beside, particularly when three of you are shoulder to shoulder on one target.

Spin 'er off and jump in. I've seen 338 LM's shot brakeless at Homestead (Before I had a change to by shares in Ibuprophen) .

Cheers,

Ian

what time do we have to be there on friday morning, and do we have to be there on thursday?
Also are muzzle brakes allowed?

Post #55 has the details on timings - be early where possible (ie: competitors need to be on the firing lines at 8am - not arriving).

Advice needed! I am signed up for the shoot, and have sent off my membership application to the BC Rifle Association. I have not received my membership card yet, and with the postal strike may not. If it doesn't get here in time how do I shoot?

Thanks.

Rick,

As long as you have sent in your membership you are ok.

I will contact Barry (He prints the cards here in Kamloops) and see if he got word on your card, if he has I can pick it up and bring it with me.

Richard

so how do we find out if we have our dcra membership after paying my entry fees, cause i have not received anything in mail and don't want to show up at shoot and find i'm disqualified?
Just wondering cause this is my first f-class shoot.

For the fees collected for the DCRA, we will be mailing them a cheque - we are also double checking with the DCRA for those that claim membership, so no worries.

Hey Scout do i still have to buy a membership to the range or the dcra membership is the only one i need?
I'm a member of several clubs, so just checking.
Thanks
