Found this on the web from the 2012 Shot Show. Looks like Cooper will finally offer an all stainless rifle! If anyone has more information please post.

"Cooper Arms was another of my stops and I joined a crowd drooling over their offerings. A short conversation with the company president revealed no new models this year, but they are expanding their line of finishes and adding stainless actions in the coming year. These are semi-custom rifles and not cheap, but they are beautiful and accurate. Here’s a photo showing some of the new finish options. As you might expect, the middle one in snow camo was my favourite."

Cooper has been supplying the Best Of The West with stainless receivers, well before 2012. However, you had to pay them around $6500 for the rifle, scope, case and other trinkets that came with the package.

And the BOW gun may or may not be worth it.......I don't know. A Ferrari may be worth every cent but I still can't afford one.
A stock stainless Cooper I'm very interested in and it's within reach!

s**t, a STAINLESS 2500$ rifle with a bell and carlson stock....not bad.

:p kidding, looks slick

Yes a Bell and Carlson. It'll be at least $2500 and I still think it is heinous that they charge that much and use a $150 stock.

Stiller Action and Timney Trigger= $1000
McMillan Edge TYD = $600
SS Barrel = $400
Bottom Metal = $300
Gunsmithing = $250

$2550. And it will shoot like a Cooper. Mine does.

All I am saying is Cooper can afford to stick a better stock on those rifles and they don't. Frustrating.
That is why I would only buy a Cooper in wood.:D

But thats 450$ they can put in their pockets if they run BC's.....

If I ever had extra spending money for a "look good but god forbid you scratch it" rifle, I'd buy a wood cooper :D

Had a good talk with them about these stainless actions. Will be avaiable in the M54, M52 and M56 this year. I'll be placing orders this week but I don't have pricing yet.

Yeah, I just need to decide between the Excaliber (classic) or Jackson style of stock. Without both to handle it's hard to tell?

I've been waiting for an all stainless action. I like the Jackson stock. I wonder if there are plans to build the 223 in a repeater in the Varminter. I don't understand why they don't offer 223 as a repeater, it's a pretty ubiquitous cartridge.

I was at the Cooper booth at SHOTSHOW to see where my gun was? The nice lady didn'y know but would inquire, 2 days later walked by the booth and shee grabbed me out of the isle telling me my gun would shipp next week to Canada, great people! About the Stainless Coppers, I am not a follower of this model, but I must say they felt like glass when opened and held true, the weight was just right for a hunting rifle, and if you are contmplating a stainless gun, this here is the ticket! I also handles a syn stocked 8mm Mag they had on hand, a reall stopper that would look great in anyones gunsafe! Cheers Dale Z!

Cooper had on hand a few high grade built guns, a 300 H&H carbine (20") full stocked with ebony style end, case hardened with beautiful sights, the other was a 35 Whelan built on the most beautiful piece of wood you have ever seen! The gun was built as an Express rifle with the works, but bead blasted finish, it was so nice the gentalman who sold Copper the wood blank, bought the gun back from them at SHOTSHOW!!!! Either gun was hard to put down, but you could say that for all the Cooper rifles, even a plain jane model 57M would not leave my hands, as well as all the varmint rigs, wich ain't my cup of tea!

deertroy I order a Cooper 57m Custom Classic with every extra except casehardening, when it gets here I will have WharGoul post some pictures for me here on CGN, cheers Dale Z!
